WOLF GELLISSEN - MYOTHERAPY & REMEDIAL MASSAGE
Wolf Gellissen has been involved in soft tissue therapy since 2010 and has a Diploma in Remedial Massage, Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy and is presently studying a Bachelor Degree in Health Science in Clinical Myotherapy with the Southern School of Natural Therapies.
An avid sport and fitness enthusiast, Wolf was drawn to the healing therapies after spending many years studying and teaching Martial Arts (2nd Dan Karate) in the UK and experiencing the many benefits they provide.
Wolf has a special interest in chronic injuries, as well as exercise related injuries and rehabilitation, and is passionate about the benefits that soft tissue bodywork such as Myotherapy, Massage and Corrective Exercise, can have for people of all ages. His treatment of the musculoskeletal system incorporates several modalities enabling him to adjust his treatments to best suit each individual and has the primary goals of reducing pain and improving quality of movement. Wolf is also a qualified Personal Trainer and uses this knowledge to complement his work as a Myotherapist.
Wolf believes that learning should be a lifelong experience and is constantly expanding his knowledge through post graduate courses to provide the highest possible standard in client care.
He maintains his own health and fitness through gym training and soft tissue bodywork and spends his free time with his wife and their dog Columbo.
