See you in class! |
REFORMER & TOWER PILATES
This class is suitable for participants at all levels with exercise modifications given to challenge you at different stages of your Pilates practise. Be prepared to test your co-ordination, strength, stability, flexibility and balance. Exercises will be performed on the Reformer with Tower attachment. * Clients brand new to Reformer Pilates or starting Pilates while pregnant should start with a 1:1 Clinical Pilates session for an assessment and to learn equipment set up and the essential exercises (recommended approx 4-8 sessions) before entering any Reformer & Tower group class. * Participants must be injury free to join group classes. |
REFORMER CARDIO
Get your heart rate up on the reformer and challenge your core, joint stability and muscle endurance using the Jumpboard. Jumping is done lying down and indifferent positions so there is less pressure on your joints. This All Levels class is safe for everyone. Work at your own pace and reduce the spring tension to float like a butterfly or increase them for more joint challenge. Modifications will be given for different participant levels. *Not suitable for prenatal clients. |
PRENATAL PILATES This is a specialised Reformer & Tower Pilates class for the Prenatal and Postnatal client to maintain strength and stability, while preparing for and recovering from birth and beyond. Appropriate modifications are applied for different stages of your pregnancy. Start in your first trimester to stay fit and strong, then keep going into your third trimester to prepare for birth and lifting your new baby. Return after the birth to aid recovery of pelvic floor, abdominal muscles and general postural issues associated with carrying little ones. We encourage all clients to attend at least 1x 1:1 Clinical Pilates session before commencing the Pre/Postnatal or 1:3 class unless you are already doing Pilates reformer classes. Prenatal class not running? You can join a 1:3 Clinical Small Group at any time during your pregnancy or speak to our instructors about joining a regular Reformer & Tower class. |
