REFORMER & TOWER PILATES
This class is suitable for participants at all levels with exercise modifications given to challenge you at different stages of your Pilates practise. Be prepared to test your co-ordination, strength, stability, flexibility and balance. Exercises will be performed on the Reformer with Tower attachment. * Clients brand new to Reformer Pilates or starting Pilates while pregnant should start with a 1:1 Clinical Pilates session for an assessment and to learn equipment set up and the essential exercises (recommended approx 4-8 sessions) before entering any Reformer & Tower group class. * Participants must be injury free to join group classes. |
REFORMER CARDIO
Get your heart rate up on the reformer and challenge your core, joint stability and muscle endurance using the Jumpboard. Jumping is done lying down and indifferent positions so there is less pressure on your joints. This All Levels class is safe for everyone. Work at your own pace and reduce the spring tension to float like a butterfly or increase them for more joint challenge. Modifications will be given for different participant levels. *Not suitable for prenatal clients. |
PILATES FOUNDATIONS - Prenatal friendly class!
Pilates Foundations class is suitable for participants of All Levels but especially Beginners or clients who've been away due to pregnancy, illness/injury or holidays and need to touch base with the basics before entering regular group classes. This class covers equipment set up on the Reformer and Vertical Frame/Tower, Pilates foundation exercises that include breathing, head & spinal alignment, core/pelvic floor engagement, ribcage/shoulder/lumbar spine/pelvic placement and movement intention. These foundation exercises will help you get more out each exercise. * We recommend clients brand new to Reformer/Tower Pilates should start with a Pilates Foundation class to familiarise themselves with equipment Pilates before their first regular class. * Clients can join Pilates Foundations at any time and at any level of experience. * Clients must be injury free before attending group classes. Book into a 1:1 Clinical Pilates session for an assessment if you have an existing injury or illness. * PRENATAL FRIENDLY CLASS |
